AI recommendation during first cycle

Hi everyone! I’m about to start my first ever test cycle, which will be like this:

week 1-10: 500mg/week Test Enan
week 1-12: 50mg/day Proviron
week 13-14: 40mg/day Nolvadex
week 15-16 – 20mg/day Nolvadex

So, my question is: which AI would you recommend using during this cycle and how often should I dose it? A gym buddy recommended taking Arimidex from the very first week like this: week 1-12 – 0.25mg/eod Arimidex (reduce it to 0.125mg/eod in week 12).

But even so, I think I’d prefer taking Aromasin (less side effects and better results from what I’ve read so far) over Arimidex. What dosage should I be using during a cycle like mine and should I take it from week 1? Thank yall in advance! 😉

You have asked these type of questions before on here, I believe, and received a lot of good advice…which I hope you reconsider taking…
  1. Your 1st cycle should be Test only
  2. Get your blood work done to establish a baseline.
  3. There is a large movement in the community that is gaining traction which is moving away from using AI because of unknowns and the presumed harm they can inflict. (It seems to be a polarizing topic)

  1. Get labs done and evaluate your protocol and numbers before adding anything you may or may not need.
  2. Go by how your feel not the numbers as much. Everyone levels and sweat spots are different.

For TRT you don’t need an AI but if you’re blasting with high enough test levels it may be unavoidable.

I personally have stopped using ai’s in anything under a g a week pretty unless I feel sides

Great advice thank you! Sorry about having asked again, I’m afraid I didn’t understand the AI info the last time and I wanted to make sure I got it before starting my cycle. Thanks for your patience with this beginner :cowboy_hat_face:

Ask away, ask in different ways. People are here to share and help.

Hopefully your path will be truer than most because many here have learned the hard way how do it (and not do it) and want to share so people like you don’t make the same mistakes or take bad advice from gym buddies ect.

Find out what works for you, and know it’s a process.
Be systematic about it.
Collect data, and be as objective as you can be about your decisions.
Less is more…more or less.

For one I wouldn’t listen to your gym buddy. Definitely do not start taking immediately week one. Give your self a few weeks to adjust to Teat and get bloods if possible. If that’s not an option then you could potentially have it on hand if you get sides. It really is in intricate balance that’s different for everyone. For me, high estrogen is uncomfortable, low can be fucking miserable and can take longer to bounce back from than some people say in my experience.

Echo what is said here. The goal, in my opinion, should be to find the highest dose of test you can tolerate without the use of an AI. What performance value does an AI bring to the table? None. What negatively can an Ai Bring to the table? Damn near everything.

Your estro is going to elevate. We need need it to protect our brain and hearts. We often forget estro should be in an ideal ratio to test. Why we think we should jack up test and keep estrogen normal? Bro science mostly.

Gotta think about 20 years, not 20 weeks.

Thank you! I’ll definitely wait a few weeks before taking any AI… It seems like gym buddies aren’t always right

So true!! I guess reading about gyno and other estro sides really freaked me out and made me think I need to erase it. Now I get it, I gotta find the right balance for my body. Thank you sm!
