Good morning everyone.No work today,kid is home with me,spring break,but daddy daughter day,has turned into daddy,daughter,and two of my nieces(sister’s needed a kid controller for a few hours)so I’m gonna take em trout fishing.
Breakfast was crepes,protein shake,fruit salad,I also ate

Training is a flak jacket run boots n utes to the front gate and back to HP 455…
 
I absolutely hated those,but think about good a shape I was in,and for all those who don’t know what the fuck I’m talking about,flak jacket,your Cammie’s on so fully dressed with boots on,3 Miles to the main entrance in camp lejune and 3 Miles back.

On a side note…I think I seen the new 53k flying over the other day. It was flying between me and the sun so I couldn’t get a good look at it but it sounded just a bit different. The only thing that I know that I could identify from that distance is no drop tanks but didn’t get a clear look.
 
46,47,53s and we were just getting introduced to the Osprey as I was getting out.
 
46’s sundowned. The state dept bought a bunch and fly the crap out of them. They just stood up the first 53k squadron at NR. Down the street.

After the state department bought the usmc 46’s…lots of new goodies including paint.

Here was the local USMC search n rescue affectionately called pedro. They were a godsend. Saved many of lives here. They would land where civilian life flights wouldn’t and fly the injured to safety and/or the hospital. Rescued many many people from land and water here. Got defunded and went away against protests by everyone.
