Hello fellow UGMer’s

It’s called “tennis elbow” but in our case ; “lifter’s elbow” and I got a major flare up right now. TCB-500 and BCP-157 definitely helped but it’s beyond that now. Gripping bar and pulling exercises are the one’s that aggravate it. Basically bi’s , trap’s and back moves.
Need some input for my beloved UGM community on band exercises for bi’s , trap’s and back. Help to old yet ripped man stay in the game. Please. Thank you.
Respectfully Always

You should switch to using dumbbells instead of a barbell.

If you already do this try to get a sleeve to help with form it normally comes from our bench press like a slingshot from Mark Bell.

Do you use a barbell? Or dumbbells?

Have you tried something like iceehot and neoprene elbow sleeves. I found that heating them up helps a lot.

I swear nandrolone does lube me up,but I’m constantly taking the glucosamine so how do I know

I’ve been using a similar style of same. Definitely not doing the job anymore. Need to take stress of forearms. Have Lifting Hooks for trap’s and rows helps a little but still stresses the injury. 3 sets of 20 with light(er) weight.

Thanx BigMurph. I use both curved / camvered / curl bar.
I’ve heard of Mark Bell’s sling shot? I’ll check it out.

I’m sure it does too. But in my case it’s the gripping of the bar and putting stress on the forearms that are aggravating the injury.

I’ve had the same problem over the years. I wished I had a secret that I could tell you. But I don’t… I would just work around that stuff for a few months. Heck I didn’t bench press for a year.

I rarely train without sleeves any more. Even in the summer.

There’s also a nerve in that area ive never done it but another member was saying that they get a deep tissue massage of some kind that works out all the scar tissue and helps with all the inflammation.

I use a lot of bands in my training. You can get very imaginative and do just about anything with them. I know elitefts sells band packs. I het one every so often.
