Belt Squat Attachment For My Rack

I’ve been trying to buy a belt squat attachment for my power rack. I would love to have a stand-alone rack but just don’t have the room. The regular ones are out of stock… the high end commercial grade ones are just too darn expensive and way too much for just me.

I was looking for a universal attachment and got burned once… out of stock on others and just too darn expensive on some.

So I’m making my own. With scraps I have laying around my shop.

Below is the start. I will update as I go.

So far I have a few dollars in the QD pin and bolt… the titanium drill bits are my big purchase so far at 25 bucks.

I have the “U” welded on and will use an old hook and chain I had laying around.

I know better… do not weld in board shorts and tennis shoes…
