Been piddling with this for a couple of months now. Oldest granddaughter is 12 or 13 soon. It’s going to be her hope chest. I have lots of touch up to do and a few more doodads to install.

There’s companies out there that make concealment furniture and they’re nice pieces but they’re extremely expensive.

got less than 100 man hours in it stretched out over a couple of months.

At $60 per hour (which is moderate for a finish carpenter makes that a $6000 piece minimum.

A good trim guy down here will make maybe 30 bucks an hour depending on how good they are.
