So here’s my rant for the day. 3 firefighters injured badly last night and one died. Barley a mention on the news. They spent 3 min talking about some asshole driving his Tesla from the back seat. Love how little respect is given to first responders after we are not needed anymore. During Covid we were invaluable, now ghosts! Rant over carry on

Was an FMF Medic, then Paramedic, so I know what the first responders etc. do and have to deal with both mentally and physically on a daily basis.

I am thankful for your sacrifice as well all the other vets out there. I try to give back to the vet community as much as possible. We host several events every year to raise money that goes directly to the vets. Not sure if I can mention the charity? @Bigmurph . Last year I donated over $11,000. Love meeting and thanking them all for their service. All the vets that work with us are physically disabled by the way. Met an awesome old set jarhead this year, 25 years in. Left with severe traumatic brain injuries from VIED

Didn’t ruin my day but I wish there was someone to call to complain to. Total lack of respect for anything other than ratings. The crews that were injured and the one death were in this house to save a family’s life and ended up losing a member. Don’t get me wrong I totally understand as we all do , that is part of the job. Just show a little fucking respect. I’ll bet you a weeks pay the leeches show up to the funeral. Fucking shit bags. After 9/11 we were like rockstars. Literally go to any bar in the city after a funeral and never pay for a drink amd pick up any women you wanted to . Shortly after people wouldn’t give you the time of day. I used to say to people you all forgot about 9/11 on 9/12.

That’s just crazy to me look I will admit that me and law enforcement don’t get along but I show them the most respect possible I have never fought with a cop.
This is then what really kills me is that firefighters EMT they don’t arrest you they come and save your life and we don’t give them the most respect possible.
Soldiers and veterans its been 20yrs of soldiers serving but I haven’t seen any videos of heroes coming home or anything about there sacrifices in an extremely long time.

They give respect to domestic terrorist groups nowadays who loot and riot at night saying that its a protest fuck that shit after the sun goes down nothing good is going to come from a protest. Its all bullshit and im fucking sick of it all our fucking vice president was posting bond for terrorists. This is who they believe should be given credit and for what I have no fucking idea.

No ratings for healthy soldiers coming home. Have to have something catastrophic happen. Again , news medi is totally useless. Wish I could post videos of disabled vets we work with . Amazing to listen to their stories and for me it’s awesome to hear how much we helped change their lives just through fitness
