Now nothing beats getting into the gym, grabbing a spotter and throwing up heavy weight to test your 1 rep max but I found a tool online that will calculate rep percentages based on the weight moved and how many reps you pushed for. I tested it out today with my numbers I already have written down and hit and my wife’s numbers as well. I’d say it’s pretty accurate to use for percentage style training methods. Like programs that say ok take 70% of your 1RM and do 5x5 or whatever. Give it a try and let me know what you find.
