Get those abs to pop

Ok so whats the best way to get abs to really pop? I know diet first but once i get cut and drop the bodyfat i have abs but there not really defined… whats the best rout to take? I hit them everyday for atleast 30 min and they kinda cube up but nothing crazy just your average skinny guy abs

Upper abs are easy to hit but the lower requires some hard work. Mix it up with isolation and do a good bit of your ab work utilizing your legs. Like weighted leg lifts for example. Also vacuum training has really helped me to be able to flex harder and get my abs to protrude. I’m not sure if that’s anecdotal or if there’s any real science behind it but it’s helped me.
 
Im not positive if there’s science behind it but I’ve heard that a ton of times from many different bodybuilders that training vacuum helps them with their abs and like keeping your stomach in and their waste size even
 
Thats good man, reason I asked is because for me personally my glutes and delts become striated before my abs get that dry grainy look. I have to get sub 8% for crazy looking abs. On another note though, I developed thick abs by doing a lot of weighted and hanging ab work. May just be your genetics though.
 
Yea i work both upper and lower i do weighted but what i really want to know is whats the best rout to go i mean i do abs everyday but back day should i do them less am i doing too much? I was always told you can do abs everyday but should they have some rest?
 
I am one that typically works abs every day that I work out but I have also had great gains from taking 3 or 4 days off then hammering the shit out of them for an entire workout.
