Giving up gluten

It’s been nearly 5 years since I gave up gluten do to celiac. I’ve seen tremendous improvements in quality of life and have generally been a happy and healthy person.

There are a few challenges when it comes to functioning in society and being gluten free. Very few restaurants take it seriously, they assume most people eat gluten free as a fad diet. For me, just the tiny little speck, as in parts per million is enough to set my immune system into overdrive.
It can take a few days for the effect to kick in, leaving me wondering just when I might have ingested some gluten. When it’s just a little gluten the reaction is mostly joint inflammation, and over long term a damaged gut and malabsorption of nutrients.

Quitting the gluten got my head clear and my body energized. along with TRT it made me a new man.
It also made be a bit of a sexual deviant ( as much as a monogamous guy could be).
I’ve been noticing over the last year or so that my joint pain is more frequent, and energy has dropped a little. I spent time trying to eliminate new things from the diet, see if I had some allergies going on, that kind of thing. I know what it feels like to be 100% right, and I havent felt that way in a while.

It really got me thinking… where could I be picking up trace amounts of gluten? Then it dawned on me… one of the fetishes I had recently acquired was licking my wifes butt. not just a driveby , but getting seriously into it. She eats gluten. Giving up gluten was hard, but giving up ass is a real disappointment.
I could get the Mrs to give up gluten too, but the truth is she likes bread more than she likes my tongue in her butt. She did offer to go gluten free leading up to special occasions, birthday and anniversary.

Its been a week now since i gave up butt, I’m seeing steady improvement. Joints feeling better and energy up. I’m back to my old weird self… that shares way too much on the internet. ( but who else am I gonna tell? )

If that product in the picture has wheat im going to have to still eat it. Lol

Being serious though how did you find out that gluten was effecting you badly is there a test or something?

I feel like one day I woke up and half the products in the store said gluten free so im not really that educated on what gluten actually does to the body.
I see above that you mentioned your immune system and digestive system.
Are there other things that gluten effects?

Its a joke right you aren’t really picking up trace amounts from a little butt licking are you?

I got diagnosed about 5 years ago, I was losing weight , my memory and felt like total shit.
I puked almost every day, just seemed normal. always had the shits. It had been creeping up on me for ten years, so it felt like my new normal.

I thought I had gut cancer and was pretty sure I was gonna be dead soon. Doctor assured me I didnt have cancer and suggest i had some food allergy. told me to quit gluten for a month and call him back.
I felt better day by day and started a new lease on life at that point. Went from feeling like death to feeling the most alive I have in many years.
