I’ve been eating a whole-wheat bagel with chocolate almond butter, a banana, and a protein shake for one of my meals each day. Seems like a lot of carbs and sugar, but it works really well for me as a “middle of the day” meal. First meal is always 3-4 eggs with 3-4 egg whites, a cup of rice, salsa, coffee and orange juice. Third meal is usually chicken breast and rice, then dinner is usually some form of beef with veggies and rice. Then another shake and some fruit before bed, sometimes treating myself to a frozen yogurt bar. Gets me to my 200g of protein ED, enough carbs, not too much sugar, and I actually enjoy eating.
