Discussion How Much Gear Are We Losing In The Hub?

So I finally counted the amount of pins for a vial and I got eight and three quarters out of a 10 ml.
So my question stands as per the title how much gear are we losing in the hub per shot? Obviously this causes drawbacks when mapping out a cycle. Two vials I would have lost two and a half pins. So on and so forth..

Draw back air in the needle and push from behind the oil. So the air is in the back by plunger. It'll push the oil out first and leave air in hub.

Never counted. I’m pretty good at bending a sacrificial pin to suck the drops out.

I like to waste money on as much as I can, so I just leave behind the drops I cannot get and chalk it up to doing business.

When mapping out a cycle you should always have extra of every thing on hand. I mean everything. You never know what can happen. With this in mind, use @TG method of air in the back, and count whatever else as a tax for the game we play.

This is why I switched to insulin pins a long time ago over luer lock syringes. Minimal to no loss of oil per pin, but as mentioned above I never have just enough gear. #GearHoarder
