Hey everyone. Just wanted to share this for anyone who might want to listen. Back last summer this time, I was hospitalized for 2 weeks. I was temporary paralyzed in the legs, and arms. It turns out, I had acute kidney failure and it was messing with my potassium levels. I went cold turkey after that and honestly should have gone to a doctor for TRT. It sucked, no libido and lost so much mass. Felt pretty bad.
I honestly just did TRT myself in the beginning of February, I’m in a foreign country and don’t even think they do much TRT, plus the virus made going to the doctor not viable. I’m in one of the hardest hit EU countries.
I had my GFR done again, and it’s 97. Which is actually ok, You would like to see above 100 but I can live a pretty normal life. So I decided to double my TRT dose to 400mg and 20mg of tbol ed for the last 6 weeks for a light cycle to take it easy. I’m back at 210lbs. I don’t know how much I weight before this because I didn’t even bother to look when I was completely off, I didn’t want to think about it.
What is crazy is, I usually take 2x more than now at least, but I feel like I’m making great gains. This is all considering I’m doing all body weights and a few bands since I will not be going to the gym for a while due to the virus. I’m considering it next month. I think I’m putting on good gains because my diet is 100x better. Since all restaurants were closed for a while, I cooked all my meals and had access to great meat. And I’m also doing keto carnivore, although I still eat a little bit of veggies and use olive oil sometimes to cook.
Also, watch out for the kidneys guys. Everyone focuses on the liver, but IMO…I’ve never heard of anyone with liver failure from gear but I hear about kidney issues all the time. For example, we talk about how Var is so liver-friendly. I bragged that using 100mg of var ed for 8 weeks with kidney profiles that are still normal. But it turns out, Var is really hard on the kidneys, so is Primo. Look it up, I won’t go into the science here, but they can be hard on the kidneys. So watch out for that.
