Hey everyone, today I’m wondering why I’m seeing so much on nutrition and diet importance. The only time I actually here someone preach about diet, is usually on anabolics. Is diet important because your already risking your health so best eat healthy to optimize or is there something about diet that contributes to the overall success of a cycle?

Both. Diet is paramount to a long and healthy life just as it is for the success of your cycle. Look at it in terms of and engine. If you put crappy fuel in the tank the engine won’t perform as well amd probably won’t run as long correct?

From a natural anecdotal experience, I wouldn’t say a very strict optimized diet is necessary for the every day person. I do advocate for blood work, more specifically to monitor blood sugar and cholesterol, and adjust diets accordingly. Keep an eye on blood pressure, and family history. Diabetes and heart diseases is a serious and common issue in the modern day world, and majority of it comes down to over consumption, lack of exercise, and consuming way too much sugar (soda).

When it comes to working out, I was on a calorie deficit to cut fat quickly, but I eventually hit a point where I could not maintain my energy through the day, workouts were harder to recover from. Increasing my calories, increased my energy, reps, and recovery time. Again may be anecdotal, but it seems a lot of the research reflects my experiences, so I’m rolling with it.

Anabolics or no anabolics, without optimal nutrition, your overall gains will be subpar. Likewise, training should also be well thought out and dialed in to get the maximum results possible. Ultimately, both diet and training are critical components that will take you even further than just looking good in the mirror…there are a lot of psychological and mental clarity benefits with proper diet and nutrition (don’t forget about quality sleep either)!

Truly diet controls everything that happens from reaching your goals to how well the compounds will work in your cycle.
If you want to cut weight gotta go with maintenance calories or lower.
If you want to bulk you need above maintenance calories.

No matter what goal you have natty or enhanced diet is the key to reaching that goal.

You can never, will never, under any circumstance out train a bad diet.
Well put brother!!!

Diet gets you where you wanna go. If you wanna be as strong as possible your diet will be very different to someone who wants to be as cut as possible.

Haha coming from the guy (me) that posted the response in the middle of the night (and regularly am posting at random times)! 😂. I’m trying to get a better sleep schedule and shoot for 7-8 hours, but as of late I’m close to 5, but sometimes getting a little nap in if possible.
