I have also been curious what the leg weighs. The leg I still have is two times the size it was before I lost the other. I hop around a lot on one leg so it has developed a lot.
Always Doctor 1st.
Be honest with them and your goals.
It will save you piece of mind and money.
Go to them with fully developed plan, and advocate for yourself.
Take everything slow by changing one variable at a time and quantifying.
Rough google search and calculation one of your legs weighs about 30 lbs probably a bit more. Not feeling the math this am. It’s usually one of my strong points but I’m a lazy azz.
It’s really here nor there… just ask questions here. There’s no berating or bullying and we practice harm reduction with peds but in the end everyone is their own keeper and has free will to do as they wish.

Honestly I’m at a little loss for conditioning in your situation.
I’m tagging in coach @Kad1 and @PHD. They’re both seasoned vets and train others professionally.
I’m working out three times a week. At this point I have been playing it lose. Now I am getting serious buckling down. I am looking to develop a program to gain muscle first and foremost along with coming up with a diet that will best suit these ends.
