Good morning all.Breakfast was cherry frosted pop tarts,5 turkey 🦃 sausages, banana, cranberry juice,coffee.Working til 1400.Not sure about gym later.Lunch will be at the chow hall,I’m not sure about dinner,I got some Cod that’s thawed out.Today I am grateful for the opportunity to help others out are less fortunate then myself.Hope everyone has a smooth and productive day.
 
Training chest later. Today was oatmeal with almonds and egg whites. Cottage cheese and yogurt. Grilled chicken over baby spinach. Pork loin on wraps and then a protein shake after the gym

It’s small compared to the Flak Jackets with Sapi Plates I use to wear in the Military,but it’s heavy with the Plates in it.
 
Back to regualr food today still probably behind on cals will probably make up
For it this weekend as I’ll eat out of boredom. Doing chest and tris after work
 
Greek yogurt with honey before the gym this morning. 1/2 cup peanuts and a protein shake after. Big salad with chicken and eggs for lunch. Ground beef and cabbage and cactus for second lunch. Wife’s making chili for dinner. Push day btw.

On extremely hot days in Iraq,I would take my front and back plates before I went on patrol
 
I preach to all my buddies about the side plates. Doesn’t seem like much but your lungs are right there. No front and back plates is going full Rambo mode. That’s a lot of tempting fate. You obviously have a bigger purpose my friend.
 
The unit I was in on my last deployment was introducing flak jackets with side plates…I want to be able to move faster without the weight.
