This isn’t even a 8th of what still has to bloom.

So far protein shake pop tarts. Will have chicken rice pwo and then sleep for a bit and who knows for dinner I’m guess we are doing a decent place and I’m not paying the guys I’m meeting are pretty well off so they will fight over check

Woke up 4 am 3 coffees black, 7:00 am 8 oz OJ, 4 oz Egg Whites, 30 g whey Isolate. 9:30 am will be 3 whole eggs, 4 egg whites, 50 g rolled oats. Noon will be 6 oz 96/4 ground beef, 40 g jasmine rice, salad… shitty protein bar around 3 and evening meal is up in the air.

Had 2 cinnamon raisin bagels topped with almond butter, with isolate and an apple, hit chest and back. Then hit my 30 mins cardio. Fasting glucose is a little higher than I’d like so I’m trading more carbs for fats in the upcoming days and weeks. Gonna have broccoli sweet potato and a mixed nut butter from costco for lunch. Hope everyone is doing well!

Pancakes and eggs for meal 1
Meal 2 will be chicken cutlet Samson/ fresh mozz
Post workout shake
Meal 5 strip steak and potato

I bought a glucose monitor at Walmart last night due to my high carb diet and consideration of HGH but it measured at 121 mg/dl this morning which to my understanding is not good.

On my labs the range is 70-105.

Keep in mind the finger pricks are a snapshot at that moment.

Was that fasted?

My fasted glucose is 150 but my a1c (2-3 month average) is 8ish which is high also.

When my a1c was at 7.3 (pretty good) my fasted glucose was at 139.

I guess what I’m trying to say is yes it’s high but not “horrendous”… maybe get labs drawn to see where your a1c is at.

Kudos to you for checking. The beetes will creep up on you.

Maybe make a small alteration and check glucose again.

Yeah I planned on lowering carbs and upping fats, this was “fasted” given I’m massing with a lot of food I don’t think I’m ever truly fasted but this was roughly 10 hours after my meal the night before which was also a leg day with more food. I’ll take it over the next couple days to make sure I’m doing good.

10 hours in between Meals is fasted. Your body had more than enough time to break that down.

A fasted glucose over 120 can be used for diagnosis of diabetes. You need to alter course. In a big way. And fast.

Look into berberine, or metformin.

You seem like a smart guy. Lantus is your friend if your planning on staying on the massing game for a bit.

Long acting insulin- lantus. No peak (this means VERY low risk of hypoglycemia) 20+ hour duration.

Let me know if that’s the route you want to go and we can talk specifics.
