I have 3 different workouts. I rotate through within 3 weeks. So this is modeled after Arnold workout the other are high rep ones.

I rotate workouts about every 5-6 weeks, so I do t get bored or acclimated first same thing. I also rotate how many sets, reps, weight, etc., and it seems to work for me.

(Knee wraps) Same way I felt the first time I used them. I’ll never put more then 50% of my max up without them now. Why risk the injury!

Man I was squating 550 in highschool it literally made my knees so week. Ive torn ligaments in both knees. I tend to stay way down now and do more reps now. I need to invest in wraps for both knees and elbows.

For 20.00 those are awesome! I used to be where you are were but when I blew my Achilles in 2012 I tend to stay no higher than 315. I feel I can go but I don’t have a lifting partner and do not trust any of these schmucks in the gym to spot me.

Agree with both of you and need to invest in some knee pads/wraps myself. Coming from so many years of distance running, lifting has been a huge change. I’m not so sure that 315 on squats is that bad and most likely does the job, mixed in with other leg exercises, for a great leg workout.

Hell, I like the hack/back squat HammerStrength machine at my gym more than I do throwing that bar on my traps/neck these days.
