My knee was hurting now my hip? Kad1 help

@Kad1 I was doing the knee exercises that you told me to try and help my old knee injury the first one with the step and one foot squat leg back my hip is killing me after I just did 25 I don’t really know what just happened but I stopped.
I couldn’t have injured my hip it isn’t bad it just feels really dry almost bone on bone today.
This is new for me I have never felt my joints so dry.

I did start a new medication and I hope that isn’t the problem.
What do you think its gotta be the medicine nothing else is different. Its only in the right hip though that is the side with the bad knee 😳
 
It’s not uncommon for your hip to be sore. It’s a very specific movement and while our focus is the knee there is a lot of stress on the hip. Just want to figure if it’s just glute tightness or what. But there is NO WAY you injured yourself doing a rehab exercise. Do t worry
 
I will try these the pain is gone now super weird it didn’t even happen while doing the exercise.
I stopped stepped back and my hip just started to hurt and it got worse than just walked it off and it went away.
I can still feel it but no real pain like at first smh
 
Ok let me k ow if that stretch helps get rid of the pain. You could have just strained glute Mead. Agsin next to impossible to have injured yourself
 
No its not injured it just hurts but nothing serious it did hit me hard at first.
I believe its probably the medication brother. Maybe it messed with my joints 🤔
 
Gonna sound dumb sit in a chair, couch wherever and take one foot and place it on the other knee if you can then with good posture lean forward. Also you can lie in floor and do same thing except pull knee towards opposite hip. If I can describe that to where you can understand it stretches my hips and butt cheeks. I also lie in floor straddle a door way and put one leg on wall and straighten it as much as possible keeping 90* angle may not help you but I stay tight there
 
Doesn’t sound dumb I believe that it is from a side effect from medication I stretched out but something isn’t right in the hip joint.

Could be that you worked your IT Band pretty well and now it’s sore. It does run from your hip all the way down the knee, so gets worked in all kinds of ways. Used to be my Achilles Heel so to speak when I was a distance runner back in the day.
