Been training on and off for 10 years and have been hitting it hard for the last 2 i went from a puffy 210 .dieted my way down to 165 And put on a clean 10 lbs 175 pretty solid happy with body fat now but looking to add size … Seem to have hit a wall. Been having a hard time eating enough .feels like i gotta force feed…
Look foward to soaking up the knowledge .

That’s a great change going from 210 to 165 then adding 10lbs of mass.
Are you planning on running another cycle or just going natty?

Welcome to the board and thanks for a proper intro.

Congrats on getting that much weight to move. Not an easy task. I’ve been in your shoes plenty of times with finding a balance to eat eat enough to grow but I’ve forced down over 5,000 calories at time if I needed to. There’s ways to do it to make it a bit easier. I find most people try to eat way more than they have to in order to grow though. I can put on .5lb a week eating just over 3,100 calories. It’s slow but steady.
 
At 175 you can gain easy at 3200 calories with a high protein, high carb nutrition plan. That’s really not a lot of food if you pick the right foods.

Breakfast: Bagel, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon

Lunch: 8oz lean ground beef, 2/3 cup sweet potatoes, 100g avacodo

Dinner: 8oz chicken breast, 1 cup peas or broccoli, 1 cup brown rice

Evening Snack: 1 cup oats with water

Protein Shake post workout.

That’s a quick example of what 3200 calories can look like with about 200g protein, 160g fat, 280g carbs. I ball parked those numbers but you get the point.

Thanx for the layout .i try to eat as much quality food as possible i have been supplementing meals with protien shakes due to not having enough time or lack of planning. Diet is my weak point .
My metabolism has seemed to really have picked up since i hit my 40 yr mark. .but ive been trying for similar carb. Protein fat ratios youve laid out and see how it goes .thnx again any recomendations on diet are always welcome
 
There is no wrong question here, maybe not what you may want to hear, but positive, honest, and helpful answers.

Ya i really like that. And look foward to learning and helping out when i can great job on the board its def. One of the better ones ive been on .
