Polycythemia solutions?

I don’t know the steps, but i’m a fast walker. I have long legs at 6’3. If I had to guess, maybe around 1 mile. Maybe a bit less. But it’s pretty hilly.

I don’t have asthma, i do have seasonal allergies, but the allergies have been much better than the spring where I was dying.

Only when I’m doing something like walking up a hill. Not noticeable when i’m not doing anything. Strange as 2-3 weeks ago i’m able to walk around up and down hills without having to breath harder. Now I notice I need to breath a bit harder, nothing crazy but considering i wasn’t feeling this was before.

18g in any good vein , pull plunger back, back til about 2.5cc, now unscrew syringe leaving needle in, the vacuum might cause the blood to keep flowing out of the needle, if not screw another syringe onto needle, or just plunge the blood out and put back on…repeat 110 times for 1 pint of blood. You should be feeling better by morning. Or…take an aspirin chew it daily until you know whats going on.

You really should get to a doctor … the symptoms you describe literally could be several things … it is less concerning that the shortness of breath only happens when you are exerting yourself and not doing daily activities that there is absolutely no reason for shortness of breath … ie walking around the house… start a baby asprin daily get some vitamin e and get some labs done so you know for sure what the issue is … guessing is a really bad game to play with your health

I echo everything that @KodiakGrrl says here. If you’re in a foreign country with a unfamiliar healthcare system and you’re having trouble with your cardiovascular system, you need to see a doctor asap. Shortness of breath, headache and high BP enough to worry you are probably signs of cardiovascular emergency occurring or about to occur.

I thought he couldn’t see a doctor right away, way different healthcare system?

Of course she’s right. I kid around of course because we all know, some more than others, if we are fortunite enough to have a symptom for otherwise,“silent” problem. Then check it out. Blood tests as well, are very basic but still hard to read without practice.

Ok got it, I had previously kept up with the thread, but couldn’t remember details about it, maybe I should just keep my mouth shut 🤐
