Wish I was new but I'm getting pretty old now.

Was pretty active on UGM a few years ago but a torn hamstring, torn bicep, and a staph infection that almost took my life and my arm put me on my back for a few years.

In 2020 I was 5'11", 235 and 12%bf. Slowly declined due to the plandemic and 1/21 tore my hamstring and went to shit.

Currently about 250 down from 293 all time high late last year. Just getting back into good enough shape to start getting in shape.

Looking forward to this year finally getting back at it properly. Might jump in that transformation contest but gotta check the details a bit more first. I'm on the slow road for sure.

I remember some names and good to see them and at least one old sponsor still here.

Glad you’re recovering from your injuries and back at it. They definitely can be a bitch. Welcome back to the boards.

The prizes are too good right now to not go for it haha.
They look pretty sweet. Looks like I got about a month to get to ground zero so may get In on it. I'm definitely not getting any real weight up in the next 3 months but plan on dropping quite a bit. Since it's a transformation contest I may have a hope. Maybe it will at least be a motivator.

Welcome back bud. That a helluva string of injuries. Glad you’re back up and at em.

Thanks brother.

The hamstring was bad, the bicep never got repaired but the infection and antibiotics was devastating. Almost 2 years to feel 80%. Not sure about the restrictions on images but this was the surgery to clean out the infection. The other pic is one weeks shipment of antibiotics, saline, and heparin I was on for 8 weeks with a home nurse to change the pic line.

The surgery was on my birthday in 2023. 5 days in the he hospital.

10 days back home on the wrong antibiotics.

6 days back in the hospital, then 8 weeks home care with a pic line and iv meds. 2g of antibiotics 3x a day.

I had a laminated placemat with outlines for the saline, alcohol swabs, antibiotics, heparin...

Every once in a while I'd forget of someone was visiting or something and my kids would set it up and come and tell me to run it. Teared up every time that happened.

I've broken my back, legs, collar bone, hand, wrists. Countless stitches and staples but that staph infection was no joke. I do not recommend it.

I'm glad to be back from that and ready to get back on shape now finally.

DUDE. that’s a fucking journey. That looks GNARLY.

I keep antibiotics on hand and anytime I see a whiff of cellulitis or anything similar I run a course.

That shit is not joke. But you pulled through like a fucking boss.

Thanks brother.

I’ve got an unrepaired bicep also. It’s been several years now. So far not a big game changer.

Ya. I'm straight to the Doc with any cellulitis, swelling, anything slightly resembling an infection.

Need to order some to keep around tho. That's a good idea.

Thanks brother.
