Sciatica Relief?

Ok Ive been fighting sciatica since last July I work construction so I stay active but am always in pain so i haven’t been to the gym lately because it seems to make it worse. My back doctor wants to operate but I really don’t know anyone thats had back with any luck yesterday I went to a pain management clinic and he suggested spinal decompression have any of you had anyluck with this???

I’m of no help but I don’t know one person that has had back surgery and doesn’t regret it. About 4 folks I personally know and they’re hurting still… 3 are fully handicapped now

I know people that have had surgery for slip disk and what not that says it’s best s decision but also they said they put it off as long as possible ciase once you get one there will be more. The only person I know with sciatica problem got surgery and still contanfly talks about issues with it

The folks i know all got metal put in…screws and rods. 3 of them completely failed with vertebrae cracking around the screws… the xrays were ugly.

Yeah lot of fusions my dad s back is bad but he didn’t do surgery for just because he knew it would be more

So I literally just had this done in May. I have 2 bad disk that usually fix themselves but for over a year I was messed up. The procedure takes roughly a couple hours and then they send you right home. It’s a small incision about 2 inches and they go inside and just put a notch in the disk that’s compressing the nerve. My back hurt from where they had cut but it was nowhere near as painful as what had before. I was feeling great by the end of the week and was back to work without restrictions after 3 weeks ( 4 total).

Thats what my dr said to but I do construction and i gotta bank my hours for insurance for the winter he said ill be down 6 week i can’t do that this time of year were shooting for December so im trying to put a band aid on it till then
