Have one coming next week trying e 531 deload structure again if I can just do lifts that are bit different like snatch dead’s it keeps it hard but lowers the load. I think when I do my ment cycle I’m going to follow a legit powerlifting program instead of doing my own thing. And see where I get my lifts
@JB_rD81 and @Poppy thanks for the clarification and info. I should have described what I mean by “deloading” better. I was trying to refer to starting at a lower weight as a means of making consistent progress during your training block. I understand that a deload week is more or less a recovery week for your cns where you got at 50%-60%.
I also struggle staying motivated during deloads lol
For me… I would do partial deloads. I would back way off bench for a week and hit squats hard and vice versa. The next week. wasn’t a big deadlifter so not an issue there.
