I was a freakin GySgt and QUALIFIED for WIC programs. Can you imagine a young family trying to make ends meet? It is unbelievable what the Corps does to save money. I would go on ship and they stopped your BAS. It was silly. At least tgat how it was back in the day.

I can’t imagine. I was a single marine… but my married buddies were always scrimping and scraping.

I remember a handful of us providing all the cook out stuff and beer just to hang out in an actual backyard and get off base. We would just leave the extras.

It’s an embarrassment.

Unbelievable and totally unacceptable! That should never ever be a concern for a military family. Any family for that matter but especially a military family
