Training with Tear of Left Rotator Cuff

I’ve been on 2 ius for 8 so I figure a 14 weeks I should notice some difference other than my hair looks amazing
 
Very sorry about that! But having the surgery quickly is the best thing you can do. I was talked out of the surgery by an idiot doctor 13 years ago, saying that after he was done, I’d never be able to lift my arm above my head, and it probably wouldn’t hold anyway. Fuck that guy. Now 13 years later, severe AC joint arthrosis and more tears and I’m looking at a replacement in a few years.

I’m scheduled for stem cell injections in January, and whenever it tweaks, I do a couple of weeks of BPC 157 3-400 mcg/3XED plus a mix of Ipamorelin and CJC1295 with no DAC, 2-400 mcg/3XED. That protocol helps, but it’s not a long term cure for my situation, just a bandaid. For you, post surgery, I think that protocol or something like it would be spectacularly helpful. Can always sub GH at 5iuED for the Ipa/CJC and probably get even better results.

Gotta move to a closer grip and a thumbless one. I used to flare out my shoulders and wrap my thumbs, and that causes serious shoulder rotation. Tuck those elbows with a closer grip, don’t wrap the thumbs, and focus on pressing with chest/lats and don’t over-exert with shoulders. Only way I get through benching these days.

I used to suicide grip still do on jms for some reason but can’t get comfortable on regular bench. I actually think closing up my grip contributed to shoulder injury so I’m going back wide when I get back to it. Never had issue wide grip usually have index on notch or a bit wider also I really should get lift off over 400 pounds it’s easy to let shoulders get out of position with lifting off by myself

I used to use suicide grip, loved it. Then one close call with big boy weight and I wrapped the thumbs. I dumped hundreds of dollars on BPC/TB for my other rotator and honestly felt nothing, and that was from 3 different vendors. Also used GH peptides to no avail. So, if I’m spending that kind of money, I’ll just load up on more Pharma GH.
 
I hear you. I have had a reasonably good reaction to the BPC/GH peptides, but I do feel like it wanes over time. Probably will go with pharma GH once my current stash of BPC/GH is exhausted.
 
I cant do any lifts for chest or shoulders with the barbell. Every time i try i watch the weights go down and my shoulder just wont feel good ever. I do all db and machine. Its the only way i can do it after 2 labrum surgeries, they had to sand the bone and said i had no cartilage since the hs om base told me to put off getting it looked it, so i wouldnt lose orders. Than the doc said i was to strong to have a tear. It took for ever both times to get it repaired and I am paying for it at 34 years old
 
I generally have to use a Smith as my left shoulder becomes unstable and unable to balance weight when it wobbles. I can do incline DBs, but limited reps, as the less disciplined the rep, the more it wobbles, and I just have to drop the DB.

Had a similar situation. Doc in 2007 told me that if I had the surgery, I’d never be able to do overhead lifts of any type and that it probably wouldn’t hold anyway. Of course, without supraspinatus tendon, I just proceeded to wreck two of the other rotator cuff tendons and wreak havoc on my cartilage. Thanks, Doc.
 
That’s irresponsible at best and seems horribly malpractice-y. I thought reconstruction had come a long way, to the point where you’re able to load. Reconstruction would mean no loading at all?
 
Reconstruction can put you back in the status quo ante. My right shoulder had three full thickness tears–supraspinatus, subscapular, and bicep–and I had them all repaired in 2012 and it is almost as good as it was before the damage.

My left shoulder I’m told will have to be replaced altogether with a new artificial joint at some point, like a hip replacement. Traditional shoulder replacement limits lifting/pressing by that shoulder to 40 lbs. There are some resurfacing/partial replacement techniques that may increase that, but shoulder replacements are just not at the same level of durability as a hip replacement (I have one of those, too, and it’s no issue at all).
 
I’m 47, 28 years of mileage, one spine surgery behind me and this full thickness tear with retraction already, along with the labral tear. I’m fearful I won’t be able to return to where I am now. I’m freaking myself out reading about inoperable full thickness tears(like yours).
 
Just find the best surgeon you can and get it done as quickly as you can, then nurse it dutifully with plenty of peptides/GH. You’ll get there, brother. When I had my right shoulder done, recovery was not going well, I was in a sling and lots of pain, taking opiods, unable to workout and depressed. Finally dropped the opiods and started peptides and GH and within a month, I had full movement and no pain, and in another month, I started light workouts. Complete strength did take one full year to return. But my recovery went poorly. YMMV.
 
Thanks, bro, I AM pretty goddam depressed right now. I know I’ll recover, but, how long to get back to where I am, DB OHP 120s for 8, incline DB pressing the 140s, I feel like my window at this age is closing or may be closed. All I can do is slam these drugs and break my ass, I guess.
