TRT Blood Work Adjustment Recommendations

The Good: I finally broke 1,000 total test and feel good! (Dr increase dose 175 → 252), BP under control with Telmisartan, and SHBG is finally trending up (back into double digits)

The Bad: Estro, Prolactin, and Lipids need significant work

Goal: Highest Level of Test w/o the use of AI

Changes: HcG 1000 wk, 10mg Ostarine for 12wks (Lipids?), Test dose 175 —> 252, and @NeuroRN 's supplement stack

Estro is positively correlated to Prolactin right? (one moves in tandem w/ the other)
Maybe add 800iu vitamin E to help reduce just prolactin tho?

I don’t know what to do about the lipids I eat clean, workout hard AF, and don’t smoke.
Maybe get on a cholesterol medication in my early 40’s?

I’m the poster child for oatmeal. It’s kept my cholesterol down forever even in my younger crappy eating days. The only thing it couldn’t beat was tbol. 50mg ~6x a week overpowered the oatmeal and my lipds went to crap. Dropped it and the came back nicely.

I quit omeal for a few years in my 40’s just cuz and my lipids stayed borderline to bad.

Vitamin E, and p-5-p I believe also helps.

Oats are a good start at cholesterol. They work wonders for some people.

Adjustment Idea Summary:

Primo 16 wks @ 1:1 Test (because summer)
Reduce Test 252mg —> 210mg (1,000ng/dL target range)
Estro - DIM 200mg —> 400mg (split am/pm)
Lipids - 1 cup of cold oats ED
Prolactin - replace B6 —> 400mg P-5-P
Prolactin - Vitamin E 800iu daily

junior Dr. @NeuroRN and junior Dr. @Poppy do you concur?

Fyi…@tbu mentioned coq10 a year or so ago…I’ve been on it since.

Sorry I neglected to say that earlier.

I had one period in my life when my cholesterol was in the 180s. Red yeast rice and COQ10 dropped it below 120 in less than a month. Curiously, I’ve never had an issue since. Perhaps I just eat better now.
