Vacuum seal your prepped foods

So im looking on amazon for a vacuum sealer for my prepped food… there are a million of them and I would like to know if anybody has purchased one off amazon and which one you purchased

I know it was posted in my log, but the one that was posted is almost $200… im not a rich boy so I’m hoping to find one cheaper!

You are not gonna build that muscle until you have that one. It does everything a good vacuum should do. When your wife isn’t home just use the vacuum prepper and you can literally see that muscle explode all over! Virtually no cleanup. Its the vacuum choice of all the top guys at UGM. 😋

I have found a few on amazon that range around 40 to 50 bucks but wanted to know if anybody else has used these

I don’t think it matter what kind you get ornthe cost. If you can’t affors a certain one buy the cheapest one. I’ve been doing this for 12 years and have never used one. If you can’t afford it don’t get it lol.

Im considering buying a cheap one to test how it will help with food prep and the convenience of being able to carry more food in my backpack cooler. I use Tupperware and if I could just get a vacuum sealer and then just carry a fork and one Tupperware container with me to cut open the vacuum sealed food and dump it into my Tupperware I will save alot of room in my bag.
I will definitely let @josh and the whole community know about its positives and negatives.

I wanted to add that you can vacuum seale uncooked meals also and then it the bad add a compound butter or just some seasoning. Then drop the bag into hot water and it will cook really well and taste great because when it is sealed with marinade, seasoning and different herbs and vegetables its supposed to make the meat become infused with the flavors.

Guys you don’t need to go all out on one for just food prep. The reason I have such a crazy one is because we get meat from butchers and split the cost of half cattle with friends and shit. So we have to have a more serious vacuum than most lol. Sometimes I have like 300+ pounds of meat at a time to pack up and freeze. You can get one for less than $60 at Walmart that will serve you just fine. The benefits out weigh the cost in my case.

We have a couple of friends that we split entire beef cattle and entire pigs with. It’s not that expensive when you do it that way and you only have to buy like once a year. We are going to start raising a pig each year on our own and we are going to get chickens as well. Meat birds and egg layers eventually once we get a good cycle going.
