There’s more to it than that. You can’t really look it up and gather all the info. There’s different tiers and different ways to program it.
I’m not sure where the 90minutes came from but tier 1 shouldn’t take 90 minutes. Also it will depend on how long you rest, take to do sets etc.
it’s not a high volume routine.
To be honest…I’m 60 years old and have had my hands on a barbell for ~45 years. I pretty much know exactly what works for me and what doesn’t. Not saying I don’t take ideas from other programs and amalgamate them into my template. I do that often.
My “gains” now are just maintenance. I get squirrelly every so often and load up a bar but it’s a fine line between strength and preservation of quality of life.
I just can’t put on too much weight either. I have underlying med issues. I was saying a while back…I could put on 20-30 pounds by valentines day…easy. It wouldn’t be pretty. Hahaha. I can’t carry too much more muscle mass either.
Like I said the fortitude program looks solid. I’m just kind of locked in.
I used to be on getbig back in the day. I read through some posts here before I joined and from what I could see this place is a lot more mature and calm than any forum I’ve seen.
I completely understand not being a program guy. Especially when you get older because you’ve probably more or less been there and done that and unless you’re a masters competitor there’s a good chance your just trying to stay healthy and maintain.
I have terrible ocd and adhd so I’ve always done best with a structure. I’ll usually tweak it for what works for me.
I have training logs from years ago in an old note books.
Oh okay. I’m familiar with Mike Israetel. I’ll check it out. I buy and read damn near every training and nutrition book that sounds or looks interesting
