Whole House Generator Doing It’s Job

After hurricane Florence and our Mad Max post apocalyptic search for gasoline so I could keep our little generator running for a week…my wife and I made the decision to purchase a whole house generator.

We’ve just now lost power to two counties down here. According to the Duke power website…they’re having some sort of problem with their main transmission line.

Our generator is working as advertised and we are sitting pretty.

That’s on the list brother!

Both of my adult daughters are lethal with a firearm. My oldest is also very good with a bow. She harvests at least one deer a year with her bow.

Nice! I want to go back to my compound bow, I been using the crossbow for like 5 years

Have you taken a deer with your crossbow?

Haha no. Just curious. I know of one guy here that has. He switched back to his compound after that. He said the crossbow didn’t have the power.

Well I’d say hes talking out his ass, there’s not one deer I’ve shot with the crossbow that hasn’t went all the way thru and still buried itself almost all the way in the dirt

Maybe hes using a low draw weight

And it’s a fact most crossbows have a higher draw weight then compounds
