Rookie ?'s

Thanks for the input guys, truly appreciated. Basically just trying to get as big as possible, while staying lean ( 200 lbs 14% is goal) and not doing any major/permanent long term damage. I understand that's a very nuanced, delicate balance, if even possible. Those labs were at 160/wk and T was >1500 so like others on here, no idea how high it actually was...but it's high enough for elevated bp & consistent bacne/ biceps (no face, neck or chest), maybe 12 or so at a time. Transparently, I'm after health and aesthetics...afraid my aspirations of Olympia or Strongman are well past me. Also being 5'8" doesn't help 😄. So what's the point of size and definition if I can't take my shirt off because my back looks like it was peppered with birdshot? Next idea is to switch my strategy to cruise at 110 with 2-3 blasts @ 400 for 6/8 weeks a year. But I'd still be interested in mast/primo/var potentially as accelerators, so I've read...
What was your ultra sensitive estradiol?

That’s not terrible but may be enough to cause your acne.

Im gonna be honest here:

You’re kinda bordering on fairytale land here. You have sides that you personally can’t tolerate (acne and BP) on 160 mg of test. Which is very very little. If you can’t tolerate 160 mg of test adding a DHT or 19nor will only make your problems worse. And worse. And worse.

6-8 week blasts don’t do much long term. You’re not going to add much real dense muscle by doing short blasts like that. If that worked: the pros would do it. They do not. It takes a long time to add lean muscle that sticks around.

Your CBC labs are fine, and I’m guessing you weren’t adequately hydrated before labs. I live at high altitude and my HGB/HCT are regularly high. I know guys whose HCT stays at 60. He’ll there’s even been studies done on those living at the highest altitude in the world with a HCT of 70.

Figure out your test. Find out how much you can tolerate. Don’t be afraid of AI’s.

Thanks, Neuro — I genuinely appreciate the insight, and I’m here because guys like you have the reps and perspective I can learn from. With five young kids and heart complications in my family history, I don’t have much room to gamble on how long I can ride high numbers. So my focus is slow, consistent gains I can hold — not chasing cycles, but playing the long game.

I get that short blasts won’t pack on slabs of muscle, but if I can gain 1–3 lbs of lean mass in 6–8 weeks, hold it during cruise, and keep my health in check, that’s a win. From what I’ve read, Primo seems like a decent option to support that without adding AI risk, and maybe even helping with E2 control. I’ve also looked into Masteron — maybe not as mild as Primo, but it seems like it could help tighten things up and improve the overall look if E2 is managed. Not expecting miracles — just trying to build something I can actually sustain long term.

You seem bent on your plan. So go execute. Get labs regularly, eat good, train hard. 🫡
