Discussion Cramping on cycle

Well…Late to the party and I think the whole issue of this thread started with cramping and it being related to you taking VAR?!?

A lot of DHT type orals have a tendency of I reading your ability to gain cramps and especially on higher doses of orals like VAR and Winny that have a tendency to dry you out a bit.

As far as the Telmisartan versus Losartan discussion…They’re technically same drug class of heart meds, but more studies have led to Telmisartan being just a bit more protective for your kidney’s and possible studies stating it helps with liver, on top of the obvious reduction in hypertension. Your culprit of taking HCTZ daily might also what’s leading to you cramping and along with the VAR. HCTZ can lower your potassium & electrolyte levels a good bit, so I’ll let you do the math and decide if you think it’s all VAR, or the fact that you take daily HCTZ.

I agree to an extent, 200 mins of zone 2 is painstakingly boring. It all serves a purpose, I just prefer HIIT.

Same. I have the attention span of a goldfish when I’m doing something that monotonous.

It all has its place, though. Sometimes low (impact) and slow is just what the doctor orders.

Yeah, there’s definitely been some thread drift. That’s on me, I’ll start new threads next time to help keep the site active.

It’s been a very useful conversation and I appreciate your comments. I’m sure you read my updates, so I won’t rehash, but cutting out the Var has me feeling a lot better overall.

Forgot to mention that hctz lowering potassium/electrolytes. I remember the doctor mentioning that it will pull some of the salt out of me. I just didn’t put 2 and 2 together. Thanks again for your help!

There are some high quality people darkening the doorways around here!
Just my thoughts and I know I will overlook some folks.

The below are some pretty smart dudes that have put in lots of time studying this stuff and are great resources.

@PHD
@Kad1

The list doesn’t include our sponsors that have many golden comments.

I’m a useless old man and lots of this stuff doesn’t apply to me but when those dudes post something, I read it.
