Discussion Cramping on cycle

What does your overall electrolyte intake look like? Electrolyte supplements are not all created equal in my opinion. The amounts are just all over the place it seems.

Do you take daily magnesium? I like 400 to 500 mg of magnesium glycinate before bed each day :)

If cramps were demons then I would say that taurine is holy water cuz it just works so well as long as water intake and electrolyte intake are on point.

If you want to donate blood b/c your a good person, by all means have at it.
Buuuut blood letting won't help in these ways, and any reduction to your hematocrit will be very temporary.

Aim Strip Hemoglobin Meter

I appreciate that advice. Is there any benefit to donating blood while on cycle or even TRT?

I did check my blood pressure today after breakfast. Mild hypertension, which is pretty normal for me.

I use NOW. They usually have third party testing and price is reasonable. I used quinol magnesium bisglycinte before bed. And mag malate before workouts.

As @Aude_Aliquid_Dignu said, blood letting high RBC/hemoglobin/hematocrit will not help. In fact in will make matters worse, your body will rebound the lost blood and repetitive donations will destroy your iron levels and reserves.

Drop the Var, or add in taurine and magnesium.

Thank you. I’ve dropped the var and added the taurine alongside the magnesium I already take.

Interestingly, I don’t know if it was a change in my estrogen levels, but around the time I stopped the Var, I had a lot of the bloating melt away, along with 5-7lbs of body weight.

I was at 250+, I was at 243 when I woke up today.

I’m also starting to wonder if the Var was bunk (or dbol). I won’t mention the source publicly, but it is a highly trusted UGL.

Either way, it’s gone now, and I won’t be going back to it.

If it’s a sponsor here please name names. I know there’s always a lot to factor in but you won’t get into trouble for asking questions about one of our sponsors.

Short answer....no. Its old school bro science unless you are running gear like a pro.

It doesn't mean we shouldn't keep an eye on it (see link I previously sent).
I track it monthly and range between 47 -54 depending on total mgs of Anabolic and how hydrated I am on that given day.
If I lived in high altitudes those numbers might flirt with 60 without issue.

Mild hypertension can be treated with Telmisartan (up to 80mg day) and Nebivolol (5mg day).
Use the Search box in the upper right for these two, do your research, and talk to your doctor.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share that info.

Agree with @Aude_Aliquid_Dignu on telmisartan. Extremely affordable and your doc shouldn’t even bat an eye at your age.

Please don’t let hypertension sneak up on you. It’s a silent killer.

Also agree on the search. We’ve had lengthy discussions about telmisartan and it’s good info.
