A question to warming oils in water

So idk were the correct place to post this but my question is something i been wondering cause I been thinking of maken my own brews but on the other hand this thought crossed my mind an hopefully I can get someone to answer

So i there is melting points to raws but the question is when say some of us warm water in a bowl in microwave to put our bottles in for smother injects an draws here’s the question will leaven the water in microwave to long an when you put bottles in water will the water degrade the compounds you set in bowl just a thought cause I wanna make sure that I’m not heating my water up to high of a temp if any of you know or could In lighten Me on this subject it be really cool thank you

I warm oil pretty much all the time And I usually run it under Tap water. My rule of thumb is if it’s too hot to put my hand under the faucet, it’s too hot for my oil. You can still get pretty warm water. Put water in a plastic cup. Sit the bottle in there. (run water in the plastic cup for a min so it doesn’t leach the heat from the water) microwaves have a tendency to cause hot spot in the container and you may end up with water warmer than you want. Using my rule of thumb will most generally keep you product From breaking down. That’s what I was taught. And have done for probably 20 plus years now.

I was reading on the process the other day too ? Hmm great minds think alike I read not to exceed 150 degrees and that’s to make it so tap water shouldn’t get that hot we have a shit ton of sponsors that could answer it Hair dryer microwave maybe but if you were injecting something that hot into your ass it would come from meat

So when i ject the oil is kind of warm probably body temp maybe lower but I’ll throw my water in bowl in microwave for 2min an water will come to a sleight boil but I will let it sit in water for about over a min then pull bottle out Sterilize it then draw then put another needle on and sterilize the injection area which will give the oil ducts in the pen to cool down even more which will give me you know around body temp or lower

But I wanted to know will the compounds degrade in say what you said in water that is over 150 degrees

@dangear personally I would suggest a heating pad on low- due to me seeing poor vial crimping you do not want to risk contaminating your oil inside the vial due to a minor flaw in the vial.

Just me being over cautious for your safety.

Lastly, heavy heat shouldn’t effect the hormone as to bind with the carier oil and other additives you need a higher melting point with some compounds.

Ok I believe that when u say this on warm water an possible air pocket from crimping could absorb steam to contamination in vial

@dangear correct. I just want you all ti understand the risk by doing that. Slight risk and a IM infection is not something you ever want to see or experience.

@NeuroRN yes sir. Very simple and safe. 4-6 mins and you should be at roughly 102F. That is enough for a soothing injection over your resting body temperature.

Heating pad is another great one. I’ve just used hot tap water cuz sometimes I didn’t have access to a heating pad. Actually most of the time.

Warm oil makes everything easier pushing plunger. ZERO PIP. Whole process is smoother and easier. Been doing it for a long time.

That’s what I was reading so yes but that also comes from the internet so take it with a grain of salt
It was saying to have all compounds you were adding the same temperature when mixing the carrier, alcohol, product ,

Since we are on the subject I usually warm mine but. I am currently on a new brand and it’s so smooth and thin. If I hear it I am having trouble with it coming back out of my injection site with 1 1/2 needle and z tracking I have swapped to just injecting with no heat I could probably actually you a slin pin have you guys experienced that Not promoting anything for good or bad

Slin pin I heat. But I use those for micro dosing. So pin every day. Smaller dosing. But I like skins now.
Also you need to make sure to slow press when using Slin pins. Why a use a small gauged needle. Cuz no matter what you do you are not going to fast press The injection.
