Being copied is the best form of flattery?

So I happened to be looking around and I saw that multiple other forums have taken the principal’s that we built ugmuscle on as there own.

We started ugmuscle because other forums were corrupted and the members were not important to the site they only cared about there srcs.

We started off with a no bashing policy and that everyone is welcome and can ask any question that they would like without a group of people just attacking them for asking a question.
I mean common were all here to get help with questions that we have so I could never understand why a forum would allow there community to act this way when someone asks a question. We also put our members before our sponsors because the members are the community not the sponsors.

To everyone out there who is just copying our playbook we thank you for helping to change the way that the bodybuilding lifestyle communities are operating. I hope that everyone is involved in practicing harm reduction. I would like to see this as a main issue on all forums. Unfortunately though we don’t see this happening.

I also noticed that almost all other forums are trying to be drama free now (A little late) and not allow this type of behavior. There also using even the same exact terms that we use to describe things in there communities.
I believe that most people would be upset that someone copied their ideas but im actually very happy about this situation.
Ugmuscle was actually able to be the spearhead that pushed forward and ended up leading the way into the future of how a bodybuilding lifestyle community should be.

I wanted to thank all of our members for being part of this community that all of you helped build into the best. If you’re a member of ugmuscle know that you have truly changed the way that bodybuilding lifestyle and fitness lifestyle communities are run.

Great write up man! I feel honored to be part of UGM The BEST forum out there! I would like to take this time to thank all our members, srcs, staff, and coaches. We as a whole is what sets us apart and at the forefront of body building forums.

I think you’re probably right but as someone that has ‘done the rounds’ on the body building forums most of them are total bollocks and only set up to generate cash from the sponsors. What we have here is a forum that is member led which is what makes a huge difference. If members here turn out be dicks, they get called out then kicked out, if sponsors fuck up, they are given an opportunity to rectify a situation and if they don’t, they are shown the door.
No other forum will be as good as us because this place is run now for the same reasons as it was when it was started. I don’t imagine any other board will get close.

People gotta remember we all started somewhere. We weren’t experts day 1. Yeah, way ask dumb shit, but by helping people you create knowledge. That knowledge down the road will help someone else. No need to be an ass.
