Big wrench thrown into the mix

Hey everyone,

If any of you recall in my intro, I recently did some bodybuilding shows and did well. I didn’t get into a ton of detail about them and won’t really now either, but, one of the strongest things on stage for me is my legs. I’m extremely proud of them, especially coming off of knee reconstructive in 2016 on my right one.

Sadly though…2 weeks ago I blew out my left one. I can’t believe it still. It’s not as bad as the other one (blew 3 times in one year) but I’m pretty sure an MPFL or two are torn, like the other one was. I have an MRI Thursday.

Now, the chances of me NEEDING surgery are very slim, so that’s good. But, my next cycle/blast is scheduled for late August. By then I think I’ll be back into light weighted leg work (doc has cleared me now for bodyweight stuff and I can work my hams to a decent degree.

My upper is lacking slightly to my legs, specifically my arms, so in this time I’ll be smashing it and them as much as possible.

In your opinion, would you stick to the plan and blast off as scheduled, or wait a little while longer?

Any ideas/angles are appreciated!

PS- Also currently a little under 2 weeks in of 2iu GH and BPC157.

Me personally, I had a shoulder rotator cuff tear. Was on course for a Tren run. But most recommended I heal up proper before running my cycle. So. That was Feb. I just started my testE 3 weeks ago prepping for my trenA run starting the end of July. I am glad I waited. I don’t think I could have done half the weight I am pushing now if I started early. Plus the kick I’m going to get running Tren… just my 2 cents. @Ironside @PHD and @Raphael3636 all said better to wait and be healthy than break something more on a cycle…

Are you currently on a trt dose of test? If so I would personally stay on that till my doc would give me an all clear. It would suck going into your blast then really hurting something and having to stop. Gotta remember brotha this isn’t a race, slow is steady ,steady is fast. Also the GH is a good idea during recovery. Couple months ago I had hernia surgery and I honestly believe GH helped me tremendously in my recovery. Those are just my 2 cents brotha and how I would approach the situation.

I’ve posted on similar subjects all over the board and I will say it every time, wait it out bro. There’s seriously no rush and nothing is worth more than your general health and well being. The compounds could mask some of the pain and you’ll get all amped up one day and screw yourself up even more. I know because I’ve done it and many others have as well. I’d stick to isolation lifts and work on your weaker body parts to bring them up and focus more on symmetry. The compounds will be there forever, the health of your knees, not so much lol

I am a huge advocate for taking your time, recovering slow and listening to your body! I’ve said it in probably at least 50% of my posts, and it may seem like a broken record, but I’m 39, old fat and broken, and had 2 shoulder reconstructions in less than 12 months time in my early 20’s because I listened to Athletic Trainers and a shotty doctor that had the best interest of my schools athletic program in mind rather than my health. Had I been smart, I probably could have avoided the 2nd surgery and just taken a year off from throwing shot-put, however I wanted to compete, I was young and hungry and thought I was invincible, instead I ruined what was left of my college track career and put a serious speed bump in my powerlifting. When it comes to recovery, slow and steady always wins!

Tore my bicep and its damn near 4yrs and I still can’t lift like I could. I do believe that after I ran hgh that it helped heal the problem faster.
Im curious you said that you don’t need surgery but if you have tears don’t they need to be repaired. I know one of the biggest mistakes I ever made was tearing my knee and not getting surgery and just going with the physical therapy and along rest period in a non mobile boot.
It actually still has a huge ball of fluid in it and I can be walking and just have it fall out from under me.
Take it easy brother let it heal and in my opinion see 2 doctors and have them check each others opinion. I know especially without insurance this is crazy expensive but it is the best way to go.

I wish you the best injuries are the worst and welcome to ugmuscle I believe I missed your introduction I was away for a week.

So with this particular tear, surgery isn’t recommended on a first blow out, given the tendons are very tiny and the scar tissue build up is typically enough to keep it in check. However for my other knee, that wasn’t the case

Yeah I’m not in a huge rush to get going again given the injury. Hell in two months a lot could be different, but if not, I’m not going to go balls to the wall no matter how much I’d want to. As you and others have said, it’d be entirely possible to get hurt again mid cycle.

I see that sucks I really do wish you the best brother I hate injuries. Ive had so many SMH.
My bicep rupture was the worst but then my knee and many others lol im falling apart lol
I do believe that the gh works really well at helping the body heal. If your gh is legitimate it will help for sure.

Gotcha, as posted I’m running 2 at the moment, been reading more about injury recovery with GH and seems for sure I need to bump it up to what you did or even more by some accounts.
