Well jenner was a household name in 1976… I believe some sports commentating for a while after that… kardashions and reality tv… then the crossing over…

I guess oodles of folks have heard of him/her in one way or another over the decades.
 
Anyone on the board from California? Having spent much time there … politically it really is like nowhere else in the county. Their accepted republican views are similar to moderate Democrats throughout the rest of the country … the same will be true for Jenner if she thinks she has any chance of winning. Right positioned republicans never have a chance in that state due to the coast, from LA to San Fran. Interesting… inland has totally different perspectives … highly republican. But obviously not the population to make a difference. Anyway I love California for the vibe / weather/ food! But it’s filthy … that’s coming from an inner city breed Philly guy! Lol

Worse than the city like Philly or NY?

I have never been to California but I can imagine it being beautiful I never thought it would be filthy.
Then again I just saw video of homeless camps the size of small towns out there crazy stuff.
 
As a very young marine we would got to hollywood and the attractions on weekends… I second that… i was surprised at how filthy most of that place was. Hollywood blvd was a sh!t hole. LA in general was a dirty place

Small areas like rodeo drive etc was clean but you didn’t have to go far to get back in the filth.
 
Yes! The interesting fact about California is one block there’s million dollar mansions on next block over there’s homeless camps. It is one of the most bizarre things you’ve ever want to encounter. Not to mention the beaches … especially in Orange County … The homeless population is overwhelming. Last year I watched 20 volunteers walk up and down Huntington Beach and shower and disinfect hundreds of homeless people’s tents and public bath them / provide disinfectants / medical treatment.
 
I had no idea about this until recently. I was amazed that they allow this to happen and not build a massive homeless shelter and use some of the massive amounts of money they just got to start a program or something, I was truly surprised seeing the video.
 
I was at 29 palms cali so LA was a few hours west but Palm Springs was about an hour away. That place was immaculate from what i seen. Whewww there was some money there for sure.

Quick story…in Palm Springs us young stupid jarheads got a little to close to Goldie Hawn and were ejected from a club with extreme prejudice… her entourage consisted of two extremely large body guards that kept their distance until someone got to close. Hahaha

The only reason we got in was it was a week night and very slow. We weren’t there long. Hahaha
 
Hahaha yeah just one of the adventure stories…some of my stories are mostly true. Hahaha
