I’m not sure I’ve ever used albuterol to cure hiccups. Usually Thorazine is the med of choice.

Sorry I should’ve mentioned it was an inhaler. So your article helped me in avoid a trip to the hospital. Cause I was ready to go. It was an indirect way but the education of how it works helped me to understand how it helps with hiccups.

Sounds like placebo but albuterol does help you get more oxygen into your blood and this I believe is what causes hiccups??
I thought hiccups were from an abundance of oxygen in the diaphragm.

I could actually be completely wrong complete bro science I would have to research hiccups lol

Yessir! IV Thorazine has stopped hiccups every single time I’ve given it.

It’s also anti inflammatory and relaxes muscles controlled by the sympathetic nervous system like the hiccup muscles. That’s where I got the idea and went for it.
