Haha well… long story short. Covid still ruins everything. We had a honeymoon. We ended up not having a ceremony… they changed our wedding plans, they changed the contract I had with the photographer and videographer, and they tried to up charge $1200 on a ceremony that was supposed to be included Bc of the length of time we stayed, they ripped her wedding dress when they were steaming it and then tried to deny it was them…

So we just said fuck that. We will just have a honeymoon. We paid a chunk for 8 days ocean front, private pool on the roof, specifically Bc we got the ceremony for free… then you want me to pay $1200 more? Nah.

So. We will figure it out. We still had a great time. Snorkeled a reef one day, spent the day on a catamaran with an open bar in the Caribbean Sea (which they paid for Bc of the dress) so I can’t complain!

Haha it was… it was something… I really pride myself on being a very “zen” human outside of my job (lives are on the line, I’ll be zen when they are saved) but i definitely was not chill when my wife turned around tears coming down her face and the manager said “I don’t know for sure that happened here”

We got the catamaran sail, several $70-100 bottle of wine, a box of Cuban cigars, and several free days on another trip.

They are great. They are overhyped Bc of the embargo. BUT they are great. I just won’t pay any extra for them. Nicaraguan’s are just a smooth, they just feel the need to roll them into a brick. Dominican cigars are my favorite. They seem to be a smooth mild smoke more so than Cuban which always leaves that cigar taste for days.

We use to get them every Christmas. An Indian ran tobacco outlet near by. He always had a box for his friends and good customers. Very well stored. They were $25 each and well worth it for a once a year treat!
