This is why people say they shrink off cycle. A lot of people stop training hard and lower their intensity when they are off cycle. Always train just as hard off cycle as ykundo on cycle it will help preserve that new muscle you gained during your cycle.
Right on, that makes perfect sense to me! I would assume with all the hard work and dedication put into a cycle, one would want to continue as if nothing changed!
100% the truth. I have numerous people always asking me about cycle advice and the next thing they ask will I lose it all. If anything you need to train harder because you don’t have the cycle helping you. But most do a few cycles to reach their goal and with poor pct and training afterwards they look worse than they started. That’s why it’s so critical to have good habits before starting a cycle.
I eat and train like I am always on cycle and i have never experienced any big decline in muscle mass that people are always afraid of … you have to adjust your diet to increased muscle mass, it doesn’t disappear just because you went off cycle
… strength always cycles so as far as training goes I listen to what my body is telling me and I change individual work outs accordingly
I feel the cycle is just a bonus in my progress, I’m highly interested in seeing how long and how hard I can keep pushing myself in doing what I’m at and where I’m at after this is done and said.
My goal and commitment is to maintain the same intensity year round on or off. I am TRT so I don’t have the plunge to recover with PCT that may effect others gains but I certainly notice changes when not on cycle in recovery. Drastic? Not something I really focus on so I have never measured it per se.
When you are living a lifestyle you just take one day at at time and everyday is the same second nature approach.
