Donating blood and blood pressure

I wanna hear what y’all think about donating blood. Every 56 days is max but you can sneak two places and go every four weeks here if you want. Do you guys have any issues with no spikes and giving blood on or off cycle I’m trt so to me it’s mandatory
Imo however I also have a hereditary blood deal that makes my blood thin any way but I still go however my hemoglobin is barely high enough to give even on cycle just wanted see what you guys do

Some of it for selfish reasons, but the majority of it is because we have the opportunity to help another person.

I started in the past to manage the viscosity, but now just go b/c even though my levels are in normal range.

I give blood to lower hematocrit levels. Been an issue since TRT started. I take 81mg aspirin everyday as well. I donated before the issue of hematocrit levels, but the more I read, it’s like an oil change and good for you. So long story, yes and yes. Do it to help and do it because of labs.

I’ve recently stopped donating blood cause I didn’t want the two week period or so of not being tip top. I guess I’ll donate after bloodwork if it shows high

I always feel better after donating it has other benefits helping with iron and getting rid of toxins in blood I think they have proven something like 80% less likely to have a heart attack if you donate regularly not to mention it helps save lives you kinda get mini blood work for free does anyone do just platelets I give whole blood I don’t want that nasty shit back

We have two different blood services in the area you can bounce between the two apparently they don’t check each other’s work so you can do every 4 wks if needed I don’t really know how lo g it takes your body to refill but it’s faster than every 4 wks or I would have ran dry a few times

Mine are free too. Maybe it’s a state thing. IDK. I fill out all kind of info and get notification s when I can donate. I just thought it was better controlled.
