I got 2 bathrooms scheduled in the next couple weeks. I keep waiting for someone to call and cancel out of paranoia. I’m not even doing reminder calls, just showing up on the scheduled date.

I’m in Sevierville, Tennessee. They’re shutting everything down here until the first of April. I run a crew of forester trucks. They told us we were essential. So we’ll be working like nothing is going on. They just sent us paperwork for our trucks and personal vehicles so that we can be out and about while everyone else is quarantined in their homes.

I don’t know to be honest. Sevierville is a big tourist area. So they’re trying to control the spread by just shutting everything down. It’s crazy. There has been traffic pouring out of here all day. I’ve even seen locals packing up and taking off.

All public places of organization have been closed here, even at the pharmacy I went to get my scripts and they left a sign on the window with a number to call and they will deliver it to your car while waiting outside…

I’m not sure they can do it on a national level, the wording is pretty vague in that law. Though we all know what they do with vague laws, bend them to suit their needs.

Stafford act is the ability to declare a national emergency which frees up monies for the government discretionary. Spending without house or senate approval I believe. Or something like that.

Who knows, maybe this is there play for a police state, just look at law enforcement the last 15 years, it’s been more and more militaristic, they will hide all these laws in aid packages.

Or it could just be my distrust of all things from the government.🤷
