I’ve said it before. I don’t know how you do it! 40 years ago I was rotating every 30 days… days to afternoons and back. Then I found out I could stay on 2 nd shift… probably stayed there a total of 25 years spread out in about 3 big chunks.

Very few places in my line of work do straight 1st 2nd and 3rds. The ones that do are all 8hr shifts. Don’t get me wrong. I would prefer straight nights but it’s the nature of the beast.
