@John, I been good man! My head was quiet all week, I got to spend time with some of my wife’s family that I rarely see, and spend time with our daughter that moved away and doesn’t plan on moving back. I’d never been to San Diego, my wife usually goes by herself since it’s her family out there. We saw Miramar, where her uncle was stationed as a naval aviator, and heard some cool stories about the stuff he did like having to eject from an f-14 in the South China Sea, and being one of the first pilots to land an f-14 on an aircraft carrier!
However, I’m glad to be back in Iowa, not having my routine really threw me for a loop all week, so to get back to some normalcy will be nice!

Sounds like a decent time so far,im sure its relaxing,I bet you that’s a hell of a adrenaline rush ejecting out of a plane…glad to hear from you,I’m good, appetites been In the trash it’s been hot as hell.we put a bid on a house last night,we really like it, decent space outside for a garden or two,and the dogs.
Being in San Diego was nice weather wise, we were on the coast, so 70’s every day! Back to the oven today and back to work Monday, so my appetite will be gone as well, which will help with all the garbage I ate on vaca! Mexican food galore!
