Hi everyone, new member and new to Peds

I'm a 42yo male in decently good health, a little overweight, but working on it. 5ft 8 inches, 185lbs

I have had low T for several years, but not low enough that my primary dr or urologist would approve TRT. My Dr tested my numbers over a 6 month period and my numbers came back as 224, 210, 216, 219, 230, and 227. He said that they all fell between the 200-900 range and even if he did rx it, my insurance would not pay for it. So I started looking elsewhere.

I researched online and even flat out asked my dr what dosage he would have put me on. He advised he would do 200mg /week of Test-E split in to 2 doses every 3-4 days.

I ordered some from a forum sponsor and started my first dose on Feb 22. No issues so far, but definitely feeling better, more energy, better libido etc. I had my bloodwork done this past week and my numbers came back at 447.

I still have some stubborn belly fat that I just cant seem to get rid of no matter how hard I try with a good diet and exercise,

My question is on stacking something like anavar or clenbuterol for 30 days to see if I can knock out the fat, or give the TRT another month or two and see what happens.

First…. You have only been enhanced for a month. Good starting dose for sure. That fat won’t leave overnight. Keep plugging slow and steady.

Second… glad you’re getting labs done. Please get a full panel if you haven’t done so already. “Checking under the hood” is always a good decision. You’re in the crunch time of your life… you will be on trt for the rest of your life. The decisions you make now very well could make a big difference in quality of life for you… forever.

Most of us find our own individual tolerance to peds and just run that for long periods of time… switching to others as we go… adding/subtracting…wash rinse repeat.
 
Oh ok I’ll answer some of this. 200 mg a week and your at 400 total test. You just started in feb so give that some time to saturate. You should be higher. Retest in 6 weeks. You need to find out how your body reacts to just test alone first.
You can add clen and anavar in but if you eat like shit nothing is going to happen. Calories in calories out still applies. If you buckle down your diet and training Yes they will work wonders. But you can just do it on diet and trt alone.
 
Welcome. Great advice above. 200mg at 400 seems low. But it’s only 4 weeks in. Keep changes to a minimum as you maximize
Other variables. Sleep. Diet. Cardio. Diet. Diet. Diet. Oh, and don’t forget diet.

You didn’t add that belly fat over night. It’s not going away over night. Learn to track your macros METICULOUSLY. drinks. Sauces. Etc. I guarantee you you’re not eating near as well as you think you are and that’s why you’ve got that “stubborn” fat.

As stated above. Some great advice.
From me. If you can’t lose the “fat” with your diet. Then your diet needs work. I would recommend a coach if you can afford it.
And as stated before 200 per week and only at 400 ish. To me seems odd.
Everyone reacts differently to compounds. So you may need 250 per week to get you up to 800-900 range. But I would stay at the 200 and check it after 3 months. And get a full panel done with estrogen levels to see where you are at and that is the only way you will know how your body reacts.

At 250 a week I am at 2300. So we all are different in how we respond. My TRT is 100 per week and that puts me at 960 range.
5’8” at 224 15% BF.
 
If you are feel good….roll with it my man. That is ultimately the Goal, right?!
When you don’t reevaluate.

I would NOT worry about your total test number. You want to gauge it off:
1. How you feel
2. Free Test

Some people with have high total and lower Free, and visa versa. But your Free is what is Biologically available for your body to use. That is why it is waaaaay more important than your Free Test number.

Watch your Estrogen numbers as well. See how you, as a unique flower in the universe, responds and converts it.

Lastly, walk (with purpose) every chance you can (15 twice a day minimum) and after dinner.
It’s low impact and we can crush some calories daily with it.
