I feel like I'm starting to lose touch with reality!

I had a small poster behind my desk at my last job. It had “then and now”

The then part had pics of guys from wwll cowboys blue collar working dudes etc…

The now pics had pics of guys… feminine in skinny jeans with pink hair eye shadow…etc

You remind me of my youngest brother every time I see your pic @Poppy

Sergeant 3rd platoon 2nd Squad . One of his Units was LAR ( light armored Reconnaissance) unit. Marksman instructor, Paris island

Well that and Batman with them wings for lats

The title (and whole ideal) is so stupid. Demi Lovato announces they are non binary………THEY? You can’t be two things at once!!! I work for a pretty big company and they eat this shit up. Everyone putting he/his/him in their emails and shit like that. I can’t deal. What’s worse is I have a two year old daughter and I just pray that she doesn’t have to deal with any of this crap. Kids should be kids. Not worrying about adult things like pronouns and fake genders

The issue is they think they are being unique but if everybody is doing it then you just a no th or person. It’s all a look at me culture. If social media never happened, I know it was inevitable, this wouldn’t be a thing

I don’t know if it’s social media directly influencing it so much, in a way I find fads to be killed quicker on social media cause everyone is trying to find the new thing.

I feel like the media industry is fueling some issues. It almost feels like the media has been trying to push an agenda, and if you have a different opinion, cancelled. Just like the recent “blues” kids TV show controversy. How many people did that show go through before it was released? How many people worked on it? And no one brought up any questions or concerns?

Keep in mind, there are raised fist emblems/symbols in that episode. There are many people involved in the decision making of whether an episode airs or not. That’s the most troubling issue to me right now. Put aside the already tasteless theme of the episode, why is there social political symbols in a kids show, and why isn’t there more outrage internally in these organizations, before the public sees a disaster?
