I’m most likely in the minority here but I actually think it’s a blessing in disguise that they are trying to instill curriculums that people don’t agree with. It forces the parents to be teachers at home and actually explain their point of views on subject matters.
History class back home entailed the good, the bad and the ugly. My history class here in the states was one sided and pretty vague and always up to the teachers discretion on how the subject matter was to be deciphered.
I dont think they’re trying to erase historical events but on the other hand, add more to the picture.
The children will now have multiple POV on historical events and perhaps have a better grasp??

Which is patently, demonstrably false. But it is being recited as if it is well accepted scientific orthodoxy.
@BX-madman, were that the pedagogical approach being taken, I would wholeheartedly agree, as THAT is a fundamentally philosophical and liberal approach to learning, viz., testing your assumptions and beliefs by exposing them to various differently theories and attitudes. But that is NOT, by my lights, how CRT is being taught, but rather, as ideology, almost like a religion, being inculcated in children at very young ages, long before their minds are sufficiently well developed to think critically about what is being fed them. For example, having a third grader write out all the ways in which his or her “white privilege” disadvantages his or her black classmates? Making them write “apologies” for their “whiteness”? That’s not teaching. That’s not philosophical. That’s political fucking indoctrination.

I dont agree that this type of shit should be taught to little kids. They won’t understand it the way its meant to be understood. But I’m going to say that I’m all for this being taught at a high school level and as a course of some sort. Race and race relations is always going to be a powder keg subject.

I would say that is what I’m most concerned about, is our education system. Cause it’s one thing to watch quackery happen, and fight against it. But if you take advantage of children, and indoctrinate them in an ideology… It will become an extremely difficult battle to overcome in the country when they grow older.
There isn’t a day that goes by, that I don’t think about running for some sort of local office. Not because I think I’m qualified or even want the position, but because I know I can be stern to protect the foundation that already exists in education and society, and I’m deeply concerned about the education system right now.
But the flaw with this system, is after the big corporations sell out 100% to china, they have now deflated their own assets, in exchange for a Chinese currency, which the government out right owns 100% and can seize whenever they want. It’s big corporate leaders thinking they can become more powerful partnering with China, but when China has taken majority control of the world, they can just take back their money, or kill off the corporate owners. Cause what is money to a communist country, other than a tool to control their people. Don’t follow the CCP ideology? Sorry your bank account is closed, and now your social score sucks so you can’t buy food at the city market anymore. Fighting against CCP, even though you are the richest guy in china? How about a year long vacation you happen to disappear from, that no one knew you were about to take, all expenses paid by the CCP.
Trump was hard on watching these big money exchanges between corporation’s and opposing countries. And has ranted and raved about this problem forever.
Why these corporations swing to these liberal extremist ideas? Cause it causes conflict. Conflict means more ratings, more engagement, more money. Why isn’t anyone waking up to this? Cause we discovered a new drug called social media, that is shortening the attention spans of humans, removing the ability to question information, creating very unhealthy addictive behaviors to increase follower/like/reply counts on messages, which if you’ve met a drug addict (like deeply addicted), they will lie and steal just to get another fix. People will retweet, and say things they might subconsciously disagree with, only to get that next fix of more followers/likes/replies to their comments. And when you have a bunch of people already brainwashed? Hire them in the corporate system, to keep perpetuating the conflicts and problems. It’s pretty easy to control and manipulate a bunch of drug addicted kids.
This isn’t new psychology. News papers, Radio, TV, has always exploited human responses to fear, and uncertainty to increase their reader/listener/viewer count. What’s unusual about now though, is we’ve created a system, that is able to predict what is most dividing to humans, and with a very automated and efficient way to deliver those predictions directly to the user. When you stopped scrolling to read that twitter/facebook post without liking? The machine picked up on that, and will recommend more similar posts, even if you hate what the person is saying. Made a comment arguing with people? The machine saw that, realizes you like to argue, it will send you more comments you feel inclined to argue with. Like imagine if you had a person walking behind you, that knew exactly what to say to piss you off, exactly at the right moments, it’s annoying sure, but it’s very engaging… You can’t help but to fight. To the media it doesn’t matter if it’s constructive, or destructive. A user, is a user.
The machine has been running for a while now… And I think it just finally learned that race and sex are some of the most dividing topics, but also the most engaging topics. It artificially inflated it’s importance, and everyone thinks it’s such a real problem, when in reality, it’s just a machine inflating the importance, to keep you on twitter or facebook. And now we made the belief a reality… I believe China/Russia has caught onto this, and is also doing “counter intelligence” operations on social media platforms to spread bad information and perpetuate the conflict, not in favor of a party. All they want to see is the country burn. People need to wise up to this idea, and not fall victim to the wireless slot machine in your pocket. But it might be too late for that. It’s looking like we will need to fight our local offices, and these extremist subcultures.

They have been bought out by China, cause China is able to overinflated and doctor their pocket books to show themselves as having more money, build their GDP, which then they can pay out more money.
