So there are exercises that u say to yourselves…

I know i should…but i dont…i just hate it and i can get around it with this or that…

what might that exercise be?

mine is arms…i want very cut and defined or big solid musled arms i think are impressive. just finishes of the overall physique nicely…but…i just cannot bring myself to have a arm day…i know i should…but…i dont 🤣🤣🤣…i know though having a day dedicated to arms would get me the arms i like. i keep saying oh…when i do back i am also doing arms…or when i do chest i am also doing arms so they will grow that way 🤣🤣🤣

so what about you?

it could even be that its an exercise yoy really hate but you do get it in atleast once a week solid but you know u need to do it more

I would say legs for me. I felt I grew more strength overall when doing leg day once a week. I just hate doing it, but my dang knee still hasn’t healed can walk and everything, but even benching will make it hurt. Hopefully it heals soon and I’m out of the pain pills

Its gotta be legs for me as well. I hate leg day probably because it takes so much more energy. I sometimes I feel whatever exercises I do I can’t get them to grow…same with bis/tris. I train legs and tris in the same day and I super set all my exercises.

deadlift for me as well as bicepts…i know deadlifts help alot of overall strength and growth…but i will avoid like the plagie less a gym partner forces me to do them as a part of his routine day lol!! then i have to step up…now i cant do legs nor deadlifts at all because of messed up hip and slip disk in lower back…but looking to overcome all that soon

well its a long story… i beleive the body is soo amazing…but we can be easily convinced by those with authority on the issue that we need this or that…there are two types of doctors/ specialists…those with a scientific mind…and those who are textbook based and are bound to a process/system/common practice…i have only been blessed with the ones in the second group…but i know better…the body in its perfect state is a finely tuned and well ballanced machine…designed to heal it self and recover fast providing everything else stays in ballance around the injury in this case.

pending injury or injury worsensens because of imblallace caused by compensation a natural reaction to avoid injured areas…which causes other injuries… for the most part u are directed and taught not to do too much it may make it worse…and bla…bla…but any ways…

i decided to get rid of the imballance and work and stregnthen the affected areas by increasing muscle desity around the area where attrophy happened due to lack of use to avoid pain which had only worsened the conditions…

in exercising those areas i went through what u went throug…the pain…oh i over did it i would also think…but i caught myself… and at times the pain lingered so badly and was so bad i though maybe i had cancer in my bones…seriously…but i toughed it out beause…when the pain finally capmed down from the previous work out i gave the area…

i did it again…and again…and again…but each time as the months went on…it took longer for me to reach that pain threshold…

this means i am healing…

i was in pain 24/7…laying down though the night pain resignated…when i pressed anywhere in my hip areas it was sore and painful constantly

now as i am writing this…not s ounce of pain i can almost forget i have the issue…

i went from not being able to lift my legs especially my righ… more than an inch of the ground to now a foot…

still work in progress…

i still have some tightness and soreness

my mobility increased 80%…

i went from barely able to get through 10 minutes on the elliptical to now i can do 1.5 hrs str8…

i have gone from mandatory 2 to 3 times a day pain pills regomen to now maybe once a week as a precaution if i know i really want to move around quickly on something…

my hip sockets were snap cracklin and poppin…now its not…and when i press into the hip and joint areas and groin…i now feel solid subtle mucles instead of tense strigy achy to the touch musles that kinda felt rough almost lumpy…and the the tendons in the area are now way more relaxed instead of rigid like they were…

so i say all that to say…i was written up as a candidate for a double hip replacement and disc surgery as well as i have a labral tear in my right hip socket…all on the scans i did…

and here i am

the battle is not won yet…nor might i get off scotch free…

but i beleive given the right efforts and willingness to fight through the pain it is possible to heal yourself from what appears and feels impossible…it takes time and extremeness…

anx willingness to tough if out.

i.plan on getting another scan done and another eval once i reaxh my goal weight and see dhatd up then…

Wow men that sounds rough. I’ma say your probably right the more I use it the less pain there is, but the meds keep you away from feeling it. So I get scared and take them again. Now that I ran out I felt much quicker recovery cuz I have to use the affected area more often. Interesting topic

Defo legs for me as well, many years ago my knee was dislocated, completely damaged ligaments tendons and joint, doc said to me this is over for my sport but… I didn’t take this diagnose seriously and systematically I did legs but slowly with resect to my body 🙂 and now I can do squads full legs exercise but with huge respect to my legs and when I’m feeling something bad then I stopped to avoiding any stupid injury , as @fitstudboi said our body is sooooo amazing.

for sure it is. that is amazing your accomplishment. i am working towards end of june to start to be able to so squats and lunges again. its all a process…but the body is resillient and designed 5o naturally make ways around to re create that ballance if you help it and beleive in it and yes…listening to the body during the times when doing exercises to heal affected area is key. not to over do it per session. Very awesome your success! 😃😃😃

oh i know. u used to have to do them…there are certain exercises when working out by mys3lf…because i dont like them i avoid or barely do…so when i have a gym buddy…i end up having to do arms…deadlifts …squats ans lunges which i know are awesome but i dont like to do them lol! i make the excuse…i have naturally thicker thighs so i dony want to make them any bigger…sure…right… 🤣🤣🤣 thats why.i have never had toned or muscular legs…just solid but not defined
