Welcome to UGM! It’s great your wanting to begin a fitness program! You should join a gym, start light and slow, do cardio and high intensity interval training. Find a beginners complete body workout program. Start doing a lot of research on nutrition! To lose weight your gonna have to burn more than you take in… there’s a lot of different ways to do that though. You should consider utilizing a personal trainer either at your gym or on here @PHD. It will pay off greatly. Fitness and exercise is a lifestyle and your never not ready to start. You should also see your doctor and get a physical before beginning your exercise routine!

Circuit training, HIIT (high intensity interval training), and dumbell/barbell complexes are what I use to lose weight. They are all effective. You can google any of those (…for fat loss) and find programs that you can use to start.

Welcome to the forum… hit some cardio and clean up your diet. Prep food to make it easier and couple months you should start seeing some results…

Welcome aboard. Diet. Training. Research. And most of all motivation. Hard work and a solid plan will get you to where you want to be.

Steady state cardio.
Get on a treadmill, set the incline to 10+ and find a comfortable speed. I use 3 for instance.
Research calories and your maintenance calories, drop it by a couple hundred calories and stay consistent.

I use elliptical just for switch up from walking as I do that all day. Will be so happy when I can cut back time to cardio and not fat loss

Welcome to ugmuscle brother im glad to have you around id be happy to help but if you legitimately have no experience we have alot of basics to go over and honestly the first way to learning the basics is read all the great posts at ugmuscle. You can search a certain term with the magnifying glass.
First thing first join a gym unless you already have access to one?
Start working out basically just doing easy simple movements with light weight. Keep researching and being in the gym you will see other exercises that you can do from watching what other people do and in the gym as long as you do it politely im sure someone wouldn’t mind if you asked a question about the exercise there doing.
Keep checking in here and participate in conversations and we can talk about diet tomorrow. I don’t mind helping you from the ground up but I just need to see that you are committed I don’t want to waste my time or yours but im willing to help.

I start off doing a 6 day 45 minutes a day 4 days use weights doing light weights 15 - 20 reps 6 sets each body part upper body like Monday and Wednesday
Legs Tuesday and Thursday
Wednesday only walk 3 miles fast pace same on Saturday
Sunday have fun
Diet eat healthy meats vegetables and berries and nuts. Try to avoid any sugary drinks
Remember my motto:
Reasonable, reachable, goals
It’s a lifestyle.
