Maximizing the workout

I usually have 3 applesauces and a rice Krispy treat about 30 mins before, then on heavy days, I will eat a poptart during and drink cranberry juice. if its a light day, i will just do the preworkout snack.

I have brought pocket steak (steak I wrapped in tinfoil) and munched on that bastard during the workout. gotta love strongman lol.
 
watching blaine sumner eat 8000 cals worth of chicken shakes a day is inspiring but getting over the thickness in the bottom of the blender is the hardest part. otherwise, taste like chicken noodle soup!
 
I have found that placing my feet forward and leaning on the bar more really works out my hams compared to an actual squat. I just discovered this today.my problem however is whatever I’m pulling on the left side of my body just killing me on the leg press. Right side strong left side is weak cuz I can feel something pulling I stretch before working out too so I don’t know. It’s always been like this on my left side. The best way I can describe it is if you let the press go too far down to your chest your back will start to roll like a reverse crunch.I’m not letting it go down too far but that’s what it feels like just pulling the fuck out of my lower back and left glute I’ve had this problem for fucking years now on and off thing
