My BF% Guestimate From The Pro’s

Not bragging at all cuz I don’t do that but my diabetes has me on such a strict diet and My a1c has been trending up (cuz I’m slack) my diet will piss a grown man off…it’s been coming up on 9 years and I still get mad AND slack AND not in a good place with it yet.
 
Any machine you use is useless really unless you use often it can track progress but for body fat always go by calipers first and eyes second
 
Deca scan is notoriously off like I said those are good for tracking progress but I just go off viaual do I look better than I was not really worried about bf% who cares unless you are stepping on stage
 
I guess it really doesn’t matter as much as looks does. Just get caught up in it like the scale. The scale doesn’t matter but I helps me feel progress.

Darned if I know…never paid anything like that any mind. No tape measures or anything of that nature. Actually this is the first time I’ve inquired about bf%.

About a year and a half ago leading up to my 60th bday, I got it in my mind that I wanted some sort of visible abs while not dipping below 200lbs (don’t want to lose my man card).

So here I am

Lose your man card under 200. Hahaha. That’s ridiculous brother. You walk with logs. You lift with chains. YOU stepped up and take care of BABY GIRL!!! You could weigh 160 and ain’t nobody revoking your man card!!!
 
I hear ya. Just kidding about the 200 lb man card.

Bruce Lee was what…maybe 150lbs and very possibly one of the baddest dudes to ever walk the planet. I’ve met thomas hearns at what maybe 170 lbs… his arms were very long with hands like a dinner plate…I shook his hand and I would not want to get punched by him.
 
I would say about 18%. Body hair can make a big difference to your look. Even when I am fairly lean with hair (everywhere) I look much higher and I shave it off and even after years of doing so I am always surprised how lean I am underneath. You are looking good and in a great spot to come down a few % and it will make a massive difference to your overall look.
 
Yeah I’m struggling to transition to more age appropriate training. I’ve never been into the “look”. Just performance. Trying to be more smart about training and overall health.

Wife shears me a few times a year but I’m not shaving anything but my face and the back of my neck. 😎
